The 12th China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo Opened

On October 23, the 12th China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo opened in China Medical City (CMC) Conference & Exhibition Center in Taizhou. From October 23 to October 25, the event will, via policy seminars, industry summit forums, cutting-edge technology promotion, and innovative product exhibitions, provide an international exchange and cooperation platform for medical and big health industry, and gather domestic and international innovation resources as well as high-level talents for the further development of biomedical health industry.

The expo is hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce together with China Association of Chinese Medicine, and organized by Taizhou Municipal People's Government, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiangsu Sub-Council (CCPIT, Jiangsu Sub-Council).

The opening ceremony witnessed the launch of"Peking University Health Science Center (Taizhou) Medical and Health Industry Innovation Center". As the first off-campus partnering entity of Peking University Health Science Center, it will promote the development of scientific and technological platforms and establish an innovation system covering the whole industrial chain, so as to build Taizhou and Jiangsu at large into a new hub featuring core competitiveness and the innovative development of world-class biomedical industry.

Following the founding of"CMC Listed Enterprise Alliance", CMC enterprises that are already listed or wait to go public will fully leverage their overall competitive edge, help CMC play a more important role in the capital market, boost the development of the biomedical industry,  providing strong support for establishing"China's Top and Renowned Global Medical City".

The event covers an area of 40,000 square meters with 564 various exhibition booths. Present are 719 enterprise exhibitors (including central exhibition areas) and enterprise groups covering R&D, production, sales, distribution and medical service outsourcing of big health industry from 16 countries and regions, including the U. S., Britain, France, Japan and Belgium.

The organizing committee has, under the new normal of pandemic prevention and control, offered online and offline exhibitions simultaneously. All offline exhibition booths are presented via 720-degree VR panoramic 3D technology in exhibition halls"on the cloud". VR has enabled presentation of enterprise exhibitors at each exhibition booth, online negotiations and online employment. The audience can enjoy immersive experiences of watching every exhibition without stepping out of their homes.
