暑气收尽，晚风渐凉。
The summer heat fades away, and evening breezes turn cool.
白露是二十四节气的第十五个节气，
White Dew is the fifteenth of the twenty-four solar terms,
多在每年公历九月七日至九日到来。
usually falling between September 7th and 9th each year in the Gregorian calendar.
此时暑气彻底消退，
By this time, the summer heat has completely dissipated,
昼夜温差变大，
the temperature difference between day and night grows wider.
夜半凉气初生，
Coolness begins to rise at midnight,
水汽遇冷凝结，
as moisture in the air condenses upon contact with cold surfaces,
遍落草木枝头，
settling all over grass and tree branches,
凝成点点莹白露珠，
forming glistening white dewdrops.
白露之名，由此而来。
hence the name"White Dew."
“蒹葭苍苍，白露为霜。”
"Green reeds grow thick; white dew turns to frost."
草木缀清露，
Plants are adorned with clear dew,
芦苇染浅黄，
reeds take on a pale yellow hue,
秋虫低吟浅鸣，
autumn insects hum softly,
鸿雁乘风南归。
while wild geese fly south on the wind.
秋露滋养万物，
The autumn dew nourishes all things,
田园果蔬也迎来丰收时节。
and fruits and vegetables in farmlands enter their harvest season.
秋藕白净脆爽，
Lotus roots of autumn are white, crisp and refreshing,
是舒缓秋燥的时令佳味；
a seasonal delicacy that soothes dryness.
秋梨润白如玉，藏尽清甜汁水；
Autumn pears, white as jade, hold within them sweet, juicy nectar
石榴赤若丹珠，
pomegranates glow red like rubies.
这些皆是秋天的馈赠。
All these are gifts from autumn.
白露至，秋风起，
As White Dew arrives and autumn winds blow,
万物收敛，岁月安然，
all things draw inward, and time flows peacefully.
愿世间所有美好，
May all beauty in the world
都随秋露缓缓生长。
