Recently， more than ten African international students studying in China visited Xiajin． They sat side by side with local children to twist red， yellow， blue， white and black threads into unified five－color bracelets． With every gentle twist and knot， the age－old wish for warding off misfortune and embracing good fortune is passed down silently．
