On June 3， the 2026 Training Program on Community Development and Volunteer Services for Developing Countries visited Qihe County for an exchange visit． Thirty－one foreign friends from five countries including Liberia， Grenada and Cambodia took part in this activity．
6月3日，2026年发展中国家社区建设与志愿服务研修班走进齐河县参观交流，本次活动共有来自利比里亚、格林纳达、柬埔寨等5个国家的31名外国友人参加。
＂Walk in Shandong， Understand Dezhou＂ Foreign Friends Perception and Experience Activity Enters Qihe． Qihe organized activities such as making traditional Chinese herbal sachets， experiencing wormwood hammers and wormwood heat packs， allowing foreign friends to feel the unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine culture．Foday Emmett Karpeh， Director of the Office of the First Lady of Liberia， remarked，＂I think that Chinese medicine culture is good， it helps people to deal with health issues naturally， and I think that’s very good．”
齐河组织“走读山东·品味德州”外国友人感知体验活动，开展制作中医药香囊、体验艾草锤、体验艾草热敷包等活动，让外国友人感受中医药文化的独特魅力。利比里亚第一夫人办公室办公室主任福迪・埃米特・卡佩表示，“我认为中医药文化非常好，它能帮助人们以自然的方式调理健康问题，我觉得这一点非常好。”
Later， Qihe arranged cultural performances and calligraphy experiences， enabling international friends to immerse themselves in China＇s outstanding traditional culture． At Yongjia Community in Yancheng Subdistrict of Qihe County， a choir performed classic songs including＂Ode to Coral＂ and＂I Love You， China＂． The moving melodies prompted the international guests to clap in rhythm， creating a warm and lively atmosphere． Local calligraphy enthusiast created work on－site and presented it to the international participant． The Maldivian friend who received the artwork said，＂Thank you for giving us this opportunity． I was able to see Mr． Yang do Chinese calligraphy． It’s very beautiful， and he gifted me this， and maybe I want to learn to do this as well．＂
随后，齐河开展文艺汇演、书法体验等活动，让外国友人沉浸式体验中华优秀传统文化。在齐河县晏城街道永嘉社区，合唱团带来经典曲目演唱，《珊瑚颂》《我爱你，中国》响彻现场，国际友人纷纷跟随节奏拍手附和，现场氛围热烈温馨。社区书法爱好者现场挥毫泼墨，并将作品赠予国际友人。收到书法作品的马尔代夫友人表示，“非常感谢能有这次机会，让我看到老先生挥毫泼墨，这幅作品非常精美，我也想试着学一学。”
After the experiential activities， a symposium was held， at which both sides exchanged views on topics including community volunteer services． Foday Emmett Karpeh， Director of the Office of the First Lady of Liberia， said，＂The voluntary service here is good． It provides an opportunity for the elderly to receive care， and also makes people healthy， so they can know what is happening with them． As for the community service， it also provides a space for people to have help． Those who don’t have help can come and receive help．＂
体验活动结束后，双方围绕社区志愿服务等主题开展座谈交流，利比里亚第一夫人办公室办公室主任福迪・埃米特・卡佩表示，“这里的志愿服务很不错，不仅为老年人提供了被悉心照顾的机会，也能帮助居民清晰了解自身状态，切实守护群众健康。同时，社区服务为有需要的人群搭建了求助平台，需要帮助的人都能在这里得到援助。”（Source： Propaganda Department of Qihe County Committee）
