On April 9， the Fifth Huazhao Festival （or the Flower Festival）， of Shandong Jianzhu University commenced on the Yinghua Lu （Cherry Blossom Road） at its School of Art． With the theme＂Seven Decades of Legacy， Weaving Dreams in Bloom，＂ the event deeply integrated traditional folk customs of Huazhao Festival with digital－intelligent elements like AI－guided tours， creating a springtime feast for students， faculty， and alumni that combined natural beauty， cultural charm， and the joy of the university anniversary．The opening ceremony featured a flash mob choir and a performance of the＂Twelve Flower Goddesses＂ in Hanfu （the traditional attire of the Han Chinese）， igniting the atmosphere and attracting numerous international friends from countries like Morocco to participate on－site．

It is reported that the Huazhao Festival is one of the eight traditional seasonal festivals of the Han people． As a classic folk activity for appreciating spring blossoms and paying tribute to flowers， it carries profound traditional Chinese cultural heritage． At the event， many international students actively participated in activities such as the cherry blossom portrait experience and the intangible cultural heritage＂Flower Shadow＂ craft workshop． They interacted with the＂Flower Goddesses＂ parading in Hanfu along the Cherry Blossom Road， eagerly took photos with NPCs （Non－Player Characters） dressed like Li Qingzhao and Xin Qiji， both important historical figures of Jinan， and revisited the glory of the University＇s 70－year history through fun， on－the－spot quizzes on university history， feeling the charm of ancient grace intertwined with culture．
此次活动还设有“七秩艺启·设计焕新”展区及《平面设计构成》课程主题作品展，围绕“城市更新与设计赋能”集中展出师生优秀设计成果，以专业力量助力城市文明建设、服务地方文旅融合；“七秩暖意·与星同行”公益板块延续10年公益初心，深化校园社会责任，传递人文关怀。
The event also featured an exhibition zone titled＂Seven Decades of Art Creation， Renewing through Design＂ and a themed exhibition of works for the＂Graphic Design Composition＂ course． Centered on＂Urban Renewal and Design Empowerment＂， these exhibitions showcased outstanding design achievements by teachers and students， leveraging professional expertise to support urban civilization development and serve local cultural and tourism integration． The＂Seven Decades of Warmth， Walking with the Stars＂ public welfare section continued its commitment to public service after a decade， deepening the campus＇s social responsibility and conveying humanistic care．
据悉，花朝节是汉族传统岁时八节之一，作为春日赏红踏青、致敬百花的经典民俗活动，承载着深厚的中华传统文化底蕴。活动现场，众多海外留学生积极参与到樱前写真文化体验、非遗花影手作体验等环节，同身着汉服在樱花路巡游展示的花神积极互动，同以“济南二安”为原型的历史人物NPC——李清照、辛弃疾热情合影，在现场随机校史问答的趣味互动中，重温山东建筑大学建校70周年荣光，感受古韵与文化交融的魅力。
