Rcently， 10 international students from Dezhou University visited theQingyun Cultural Expo Parkto take part in the Lantern Festival folk art performance activities． Through immersive experiences with intangible cultural heritage and local customs， they got an up－close look at the profound cultural connotation and modern vitality of China’s excellent traditional culture．
近日，10余位来自德州学院的外籍留学生走进庆云文博园，参与元宵节民间文艺展演活动，在非遗体验与民俗互动中，近距离感受中华优秀传统文化的深厚底蕴与时代活力。
At the event， the students immersed themselves in Qingyun’s distinctive intangible cultural heritage projects． At the Yangge performance site in Shangtang Town， the powerful beat of women’s drums paired with lively Yangge dance teams， along with amusing appearances of classic characters like the Monkey King， Pigsy， and Tang Sanzang， prompted the international students to join the team． They followed the rhythm， playing drums， feeling the vigorous， grassroots energy of this northern Chinese folk dance amidst laughter and joy．
活动现场，留学生们沉浸式体验了庆云特色非遗项目。在尚堂镇秧歌表演现场，激昂的女子大鼓搭配欢腾的秧歌队伍，诙谐有趣的孙悟空、猪八戒、唐僧等经典扮相轮番登场，引得留学生们纷纷加入队伍，跟着节奏敲响大鼓，在欢声笑语中感受北方民间舞蹈扎根乡土、生生不息的蓬勃力量。
During the Loong dance experience， the international students personally felt the agility and profound significance of loong culture． The ribbon Loong performance on site used light and colorful ribbon loong as its medium， cleverly blending traditional loong dance techniques with modern fitness concepts． Following the music， the performers enacted classic moves like＂Auspicious Loong Offering Blessings＂ and＂Flying Loong in the Sky．＂ fully displaying the strength and beauty of the Loong’s coiling and leaping form． Guided by the performers， the international students tried holding the ribbon Loongs and learning basic movements． Through coordinating their arms， steps， and body movements， they began to understand the profound symbolism of the Loong culture in praying for good fortune， felt the energy and enthusiasm of national fitness， and personally unlocked the unique joy of traditional Chinese folk customs．
在舞龙体验环节，留学生们亲身感受中华龙文化的灵动与厚重。现场的彩带龙表演，以轻灵绚丽的彩带龙为载体，将传统舞龙技艺与现代健身理念巧妙融合，演员们伴着音乐节奏，演绎“祥龙献瑞”“飞龙在天”等经典招式，尽显龙形盘旋腾跃的力与美。在表演者的指导下，留学生们试着握持彩带龙，学习基础动作，在手臂、脚步与腰身的协调联动中，体悟龙文化祈福纳祥的深远寓意，感受全民健身的活力与热情，亲身解锁中华传统民俗的独特乐趣。
At the end of their trip， the international students expressed that Qingyun has a long history and rich cultural heritage， describing it as a city hiding numerous cultural treasures． They found this experiential event interesting and memorable． They shared that by participating in folk activities like the Yangge and Loong dance， they not only truly felt the joyful and peaceful atmosphere of the Lantern Festival， but also gained a deeper understanding of the cultural connotations behind Chinese customs—values like reunion， unity， and striving forward． They came to understand that these folk activities， passed down through generations， represent the Chinese people’s aspirations for a better life．（Liu Liying Liu Weizeng）
