On January 8， a delegation led by Dr． Sebastian Wachsmann， head of the Fireproof Materials Testing and Development Department at the Materials Testing Institute of the University of Stuttgart， visited Shandong Jianzhu University． The two parties discussed potential cooperation in areas such as applications for foreign talent programs and joint scientific research．
1月8日，德国斯图加特大学（Universität Stuttgart）材料试验研究所防火材料测试研发部负责人塞巴斯蒂安·瓦赫斯曼（Sebastian Wachsmann）博士一行访问山东建筑大学，双方围绕外籍人才项目申报、科研合作等合作事项进行交流探讨。
During the discussions， participants engaged in an in－depth exchange on key topics including standards and specifications for various fire－resistant building materials， thermal conductivity testing， cost control， and market promotion． They arrived at a preliminary understanding on establishing collaborative research teams and initiating projects． Dr． Wachsmann expressed a strong desire for deeper cooperation， praising the University＇s distinctive features and outstanding accomplishments in the applied research of fire－resistant building materials．
座谈会上，与会人员围绕不同建筑防火材料的标准规范、导热系数检测、造价控制及市场推广等关键议题展开深入研讨，就科研团队组建、研究项目开展等达成初步共识。塞巴斯蒂安·瓦赫斯曼表示，山东建筑大学在建筑防火材料应用研究方面特色鲜明、成就突出，非常希望能在此领域进行深度交流合作，共同开展相关课题研究。
After the meeting， the delegation toured the laboratory building of the School of Civil Engineering． They gained detailed insights into the development of the school＇s experimental platforms for building material performance testing and structural safety assessment， speaking highly of the well－equipped facilities and vibrant academic environment． The visit also facilitated detailed conversations on experimental methodologies and mechanisms for platform sharing．
会后，塞巴斯蒂安·瓦赫斯曼一行实地参观了山东建筑大学土木工程学院实验楼，详细了解了学院在建筑材料性能测试、结构安全检测等方面的实验平台建设情况，对学院完善的科研设施和浓厚的科研氛围给予高度评价。参观过程中，双方还就实验技术方法、平台共享机制等进行了细致交流。
