On October 18th, fifteen international students from Taishan First Medical University attended the scene of the"Oath by the Sea, Love in Daiyue"— the New Era Collective Wedding Event in Daiyue District.
Dressed in traditional Chinese Xiuhuo attire, they stepped into the wedding hall. Through a series of rituals steeped in ancient charm, the couples completed their wedding ceremony.
"This is my first time to see the Chinese wedding. It's really beautiful and charming, especially the clothes that the bride and the groom wear. The red symbolizes the good luck of the bride and the groom for the future."
"Now I have a deeper understanding of Chinese marriages, and I would like to experience more of this in the future."
At the event venue, an intangible cultural heritage experience zone was also set up, offering interactive activities such as paper-cutting, tie-dyeing, and rubbing, allowing the international students to immerse themselves in and appreciate the profound cultural heritage of Daiyue.
The agricultural produce exhibition area showcased locally unique agricultural products, attracting international students to stop and admire. Taste the distinctive and high-quality products of Daiyue.
