Hello everyone， and welcome to the Mount Tai Chilin Fish Museum．
现在我们所在的位置是黄石崖，是世界地质遗迹，
We are currently at Huangshi Cliff， a World Geological Heritage Site．
上面是螭霖鱼原生地－龙湾。
Above us is Dragon Pool， the natural habitat of the Chilin Fish．
博物馆于2012年建成，建筑面积1488平方米，
The museum was constructed in 2012， with a total floor area of 1，488 square meters．
整体造型为抽象夸张的鱼。
Its architectural design features an abstract and exaggerated fish form．
博物馆共分为上下两层。
The museum has two levels．
大家请看这里是鱼眼的位置，
Please look here – this is the＂eye＂ of the fish．
三条铜质鱼形雕塑，在自然光的沐浴下，呈螺旋式上升，
Three bronze fish sculptures spiral upward， bathed in natural light，
这也就寓意着鱼跃龙门，飞黄腾达。
symbolizing the legend of fish leaping over the dragon gate （yuyue longmen）， representing success and prosperity．
泰山螭霖鱼，又名石鳞鱼、斑纹鱼，属于鲤科，
The Mount Tai Chilin Fish （Varicorhinus macrolepis）， also known as the stone scale fish or striped fish， belongs to the Cyprinidae family．
形成于3000万年前，是泰山所独有的珍稀物种。
It evolved 30 million years ago and is a rare species unique to Mount Tai．
自然条件下，螭霖鱼生长在泰山海拔270米—800米的山涧溪流中。
In the wild， Chilin Fish inhabit mountain streams between 270 to 800 meters above sea level on Mount Tai．
另外螭霖鱼具有很高的营养价值，含有人体所需的多种不饱和脂肪酸，
Chilin Fish are highly nutritious， rich in essential unsaturated fatty acids，
并且蛋白质含量比草鱼、鳙鱼等多种鱼类要高的多。
and contain significantly higher protein levels than species like grass carp or bighead carp．
据说，夏天把螭霖鱼放在石板上暴晒，
Legend has it that if a Chilin Fish is placed on a stone slab under the summer sun，
它的鱼肉可以化作油流出来，而只剩下整个鱼的鳞片和骨架，可以说，真的是非常的神奇。
its flesh will melt into oil， leaving only scales and bones behind–a truly remarkable phenomenon．
螭霖鱼如此神奇，
Given its uniqueness，
泰安市政府也一直在采取多项措施，保护泰山螭霖鱼。
the Tai’an Municipal Government has implemented multiple conservation measures．
设立了彩石溪、天井湾、天烛峰等作为螭霖鱼保护区，
Protected areas such as Caishi Stream， Tianjing Bay， and Tianzhu Peak have been established．
现在我们所在的区域为彩石溪保护区，
The area we are in now is the Caishi Stream Protected Area，
也是最大的一片保护区。

另外，
Additionally，
将每年的农历六月十九日，确立为螭霖鱼增殖放流日。
the 19th day of the sixth lunar month is designated as the annual Chilin Fish Stocking Day．
自2009年起，
Since 2009，
连续15年开展增殖放流活动，累计增殖放流鱼苗180余万尾，
over 1．8 million juvenile fish have been released through 15 consecutive years of stocking programs，
总投资1700多万，
with a total investment exceeding 17 million yuan．
增加了野生螭霖鱼的数量，保护了螭霖鱼种质资源。
These efforts have increased wild populations and preserved the genetic resources of the species．
这块自然景观石，是在博物馆的建设过程中发现的地质遗迹，
This natural landscape stone is a geological relic discovered during the museum’s construction．
为了保护泰山自然景观，
To protect Mount Tai’s natural scenery，
我们多次调整建设方案，
the building plan was adjusted multiple times，
最终使得泰山的自然景观与博物馆完美融合。
ultimately achieving seamless integration between the landscape and the museum．
另外，螭霖鱼还有一个显著的特点，就是它长不大，
Another distinctive feature of the Chilin Fish is its limited growth．
在自然条件下，螭霖鱼最长能长到20厘米，重约100克，
In the wild， they reach a maximum length of 20 cm and weight of 100 grams．
在人工养殖的条件下，
Under aquaculture conditions，
由于饵料供应相对充足，螭霖鱼最长能长到30厘米，重约200克。
with ample food supply， they can grow up to 30 cm and weigh about 200 grams．
