On March 10， Kim Gwang Soo， Governor of Education of Jeju Special Self－Governing Province， South Korea， led a delegation to visit Shandong University．
3月10日，韩国济州特别自治道教育监金光洙率团访问山东大学。
Li Shucai， President of Shandong University， welcomed the delegation， and introduced the development history and educational characteristics of Shandong University． He stated that Shandong University has established long－term and stable partnerships with over 50 universities and scientific research institutes in South Korea． He also expressed his hope that both sides can， through giving full play to their common advantages in geographical proximity and cultural similarity， and inheriting the profound accumulation in the field of Confucianism studies， further deepen practical cooperation in education， science and technology， and talent development． This will contribute greatly to the academic prosperity of the Confucianism cultural circle and promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and South Korea．
山东大学校长李术才对金光洙教育监一行的到访表示欢迎，并介绍了山东大学的历史沿革、办学特色等情况。他表示，山东大学已与韩国50多所高校、科研院所建立了长期稳定的合作关系，希望双方发挥地理相邻、文化相通的共同优势，传承儒学研究领域的深厚积淀，进一步深化在教育、科技、人才等领域的务实合作，为助力儒家文化圈学术繁荣、推动中韩两国教育文化交流作出更大贡献。
Kim Gwang Soo said that Jeju Special Self－Governing Province has always regarded educational cooperation as an important engine for regional development， especially with China． And he conveyed his expect to work with Shandong University to explore the profound cultural heritage of doctrines of Confucius and Mencius， and to promote close cooperation in areas such as joint student cultivation， faculty and student exchanges， and academic exchanges， injecting fresh momentum into the development of education in the two countries．
金光洙表示，济州特别自治道始终将教育合作视为推动区域发展的重要引擎，尤其重视与中国的教育交流，期待与山东大学携手探索孔孟之道的深厚文化底蕴，推动双方在学生联合培养、师生互访和学术交流等方面的紧密合作，为中韩两国的教育事业发展注入新动能。
During the visit， the delegation visited the Center for Research and Experience of Traditional Chinese Culture and＂The University over a Hundred Years －－ Exhibition on the History of Shandong University＂ in the Shandong University Museum．
访问期间，代表团参观了山东大学中华传统文化研究与体验基地和校史馆。
