Tianqiao （meaning＂overbridge＂ in Chinese） District is a place deeply connected to＂bridges＂． In its northern part lies a bridge perched along the Yellow River， bearing a hundred years of history and weathering．

天桥区，是一个和“桥”有缘的地方。在天桥区的北部，有这么一座桥，它坐落在黄河之畔，承载着百年的历史风霜。

Look！ That＇s our protagonist today： the Luokou Yellow River Railway Bridge！

看，那就是我们今天的主角——泺口黄河铁路大桥！

This bridge was constructed in 1908 and completed for full operation in 1912， enduring over a century of trials and tribulations． From the Tientsin－Pukow Railway to the Handan－Jinan Railway， it has witnessed the evolution of railway transportation and the transformation of the Yellow River＇s banks． Every steel beam， every piece of iron sheet， narrates the bridge＇s glorious past and its vicissitudes．

这座桥，始建于1908年，承建完全通车于1912年，已经经历了一个多世纪的风雨洗礼。从津浦线到邯济线，它见证了铁路交通的变迁，也见证了黄河两岸的世纪嬗变。每一块钢筋、每一片铁皮，都诉说着过往的辉煌与沧桑。

With a dam to the south and Queshan Mountain to the north， the bridge forms a natural barrier， with both sides gazing across the river from afar．

你们看，大桥南依大坝，北枕鹊山，两方隔河遥望，形成了天然的屏障。

Despite its age， this bridge remains active on the frontlines of railway transportation． It is the only century－old bridge on the Yellow River still serving rail traffic today． Remarkable， isn＇t it？ A perfect blend of antiquity and vitality！

别看这座桥年纪大，它可是仍然活跃在铁路运输的第一线。它是唯一一座在黄河上仍然承担铁路运输任务的百年老桥。怎么样，是不是觉得这座桥既古老又充满活力？

Moreover， in 2013， it was listed among the seventh batch of major historical and cultural sites protected at the national level by the State Council． In 2018， it was included in the first batch of the industrial heritage sites of China． These honors not only acknowledge its historical significance but also cement its status as a living fossil of modern Chinese and Shandong history， railway development， and bridge engineering．

不仅如此，2013年，它被国务院列为第七批全国重点文物保护单位；2018年，入选了第一批中国工业遗产保护名录。这不仅仅是对它历史价值的认可，更是对它作为中国和山东近代史、中国铁路史、中国桥梁史活化石的肯定。
