On the morning of January 13， Yong Keun Yoo， director of the Planning and Budget Department at Korea University， along with two colleagues， paid a visit to Shandong University． Both parties engaged in extensive discussions regarding deepening faculty and student exchanges， advancing academic disciplines， and enhancing academic reputation． They reached a consensus to enhance collaborative student training and to initiate high－level scientific research partnerships．

1月13日上午，高丽大学规划与预算处处长俞龙根一行三人访问山东大学，双方就深化师生交流、推动学科建设和提升学术声誉等进行深入交流，并一致同意加强学生联合培养和开展高水平科研合作。

During the meeting， Xu Xifeng， head of the Department of International Affairs of Shandong University， provided an overview of the educational landscape at the university and its recent collaborations with Korean institutions． He emphasized the strategic importance of Korea University as a key partner to Shandong University， suggesting that both institutions should leverage existing cooperation mechanisms to focus on their respective advantageous disciplines and research resources， and establish high－level platforms for research collaboration and technological innovation to foster the creation of more original research outcomes．

会谈中，山东大学国际事务部部长徐希锋介绍了山东大学的办学情况以及对韩交流合作近况。他表示，高丽大学是山东大学的重要合作伙伴，双方应依托现有合作机制，进一步聚焦各自优势学科和科研资源，携手共建高层次科研合作平台和科技创新平台，推动产出更多原创性科研成果。

Yong Keun Yoo lauded the strong foundation for collaboration between Korea University and Shandong University manifested in the 186 research papers jointly published by faculty from both institutions． He conveyed his desire to deepen academic exchanges through Korea University＇s K－club teacher exchange program and to invite more distinguished scholars from Shandong University to participate in academic activities at Korea University． He also expressed his expectation of continued exploration of new cooperative opportunities in joint student training and short－term exchanges， with the aim of collectively developing innovative international talent cultivation demonstration projects．

俞龙根表示，高丽大学与山东大学拥有良好的合作基础，两校教师已合作发表论文186篇，希望通过高丽大学的K－club教师交流计划，进一步深化双方的学术交流，邀请更多山大优秀学者赴高丽大学开展学术活动。同时，也期待双方能够持续探索在学生联合培养和短期交流方面新的合作机遇，共同打造创新型国际化人才培养示范项目。
