From November 4 to 9， Li Shucai， President of Shandong University， led delegations to visit friendly universities in South Korea and Japan respectively， including Sungkyunkwan University， Hanyang University， Kumamoto University， Osaka University， and Wakayama Medical University， aiming to deepen exchanges， expand academic cooperation， promote Sino－foreign cooperative education and industry－university－research collaboration， and facilitate the sharing of educational resources．

11月4日至9日，山东大学校长李术才先后率团赴韩国、日本访问，到访成均馆大学、汉阳大学、熊本大学、大阪大学、和歌山县立医科大学等友好高校，深化校际交流、拓展学术合作，推动开展中外合作办学和产学研合作，促进教育资源共享。

The delegation to South Korea held discussions with leaders of Sungkyunkwan University and Hanyang University， and signed the＂Letter of Intent for Cooperation in Sino－foreign Cooperative Education between Shandong University and Hanyang University＂ and the＂Memorandum of Cooperation for Optimizing Student Exchange Work＂． This led to the establishment of Shandong University＇s first overseas global competence workstation， aiming at conducting high－level Sino－foreign cooperative education and innovative talent training programs． Shandong University organized a special recruitment event for high－level overseas talents at Sungkyunkwan University， attracting nearly 200 Chinese doctoral candidates in Korea， thereby supporting the university＇s＂Double First－Class＂ （First－class universities and disciplines of the world） initiative．

在韩国，代表团一行先后访问成均馆大学、汉阳大学，同高校负责人展开座谈交流，与汉阳大学签署《山东大学与汉阳大学合作办学意向书》《关于优化学生交流工作的合作备忘录》，建立山大首个全球胜任力海外工作站，开展高水平中外合作办学和创新型人才培养项目；在成均馆大学举办山东大学海外高层次人才专场招聘会，积极延揽在韩高水平人才，助力学校“双一流”建设，近200位在韩中国籍博士参与现场活动。

The delegation to Japan visited Kumamoto University， Osaka University， and Wakayama Medical University， had discussions with university leaders and conducted on－site visits， including a visit to the Wakayama Medical University Hospital． In addition， the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Qilu Transportation， Shandong University， held a signing ceremony at Osaka University with the Faculty of Engineering， Osaka University for academic exchanges． During the visit， Shandong University also organized an overseas talent exchange event in Tokyo， which saw the participation of over 120 young talents and alumni from universities such as the University of Tokyo， Waseda University， and the Tokyo Institute of Technology．

在日本，代表团一行先后来到熊本大学、大阪大学、和歌山县立医科大学等，同高校负责人座谈交流，并实地参观和歌山县立医科大学附属医院，在大阪大学举行山东大学机械学院、齐鲁交通学院与大阪大学工学部学术交流签署仪式。访日期间，山东大学在东京举行海外人才交流会，来自东京大学、早稻田大学、东京工业大学等高校的120余名青年人才及校友参加活动。

The delegation also met with Shuhei Kishimoto， Governor of Wakayama Prefecture， to discuss strengthening exchanges between young students and scholars from both countries and enhancing the friendly relations between Shandong Province and Wakayama Prefecture．

此次访问，代表团一行还会见了和歌山县知事岸本周平，双方就加强两国青年学生学者交流，强化山东省与和歌山县友好省县关系等内容进行探讨。
