In recent years， with the increasing efforts in ecological environment management， the forest coverage rate has gradually increased． The rich wetlands and mudflat in Xiajin County have become＂gas stations＂ for many rare birds to supplement energy and recuperate． Wild birds such as Oriental white stork and green headed diving duck pass by here， and hundreds of swans stop and supply here every year．

近年来，随着生态环境治理力度的不断加大，森林覆盖率逐步上升，夏津县丰富的湿地、滩涂已成为不少珍惜鸟类补充能量、休养生息的“加油站”，东方白鹳、青头潜鸭等野生鸟类从这里经过，每年有几百只天鹅在此停歇、补给。

Wetlands have good ecology， and migratory birds return as scheduled． Xiajin County will always adhere to the principle that＂green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver＂， and strive to build a leading area for ecological civilization． An ecological wetland， the Jiulongkou National Wetland Park， will be built in the prime location of the county， where more and more birds are willing to rest and reproduce．
