大明湖北望，现在早已是一片片的高楼林立，曾经还是一片片的北国田园风光。这里就是北园。

The north side of Daming Lake, now blocks of high-rise buildings, was once patches of idyllic scenery. This is Beiyuan.

北园地处济南城北、黄河以南，小清河横贯其中。《济南市地名志》上说：“因地处济南市区之北，以园畦地为主，故名。”“北园”一名，最早可见于《二十四泉草堂集·北园晓行》一诗，沿用至今。北园多水田，河流也多，炎热的夏季，总有丝丝清凉。

Beiyuan is located in the north of Jinan and south of the Yellow River, with Xiaoqing River running through it. According to the Jinan Gazetteer,"It is named because it is located in the north (Bei) of Jinan and is mainly farmland (Yuan)." The name"Beiyuan" was first seen in the poem Dawn Walk in Beiyuanof The Twenty-fourth Spring Thatched Cottage Poem Collection by Wang Ping of the Qing Dynasty, which has been used to this day. There are many paddy fields and rivers. In summer, there is always a fresh and cool breeze.

北园，也存在着大量的文物与古迹。

Many cultural relics and historic sites can be seen there.

柳云社区，老百姓嘴中俗称的张公坟，因辖区内有元代张养浩坟墓及其家族墓地而得名。1979年济南市政府公布为市级文物保护单位，1992年省政府公布为省级文物保护单位。如今墓园不断改造提升，建成为历史文化名人为主题的景观公园。而位于墓园旁边的“云锦湖”,得名于“云锦池”,那便是张养浩的故居云庄所在。

Liuyun Community, commonly known as Zhanggongfen, was named after the cemetery of Zhang Yanghao of the Yuan Dynasty and his families in the area. In 1979, the Jinan Municipal People's Government announced it as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit. In 1992, the Shandong Provincial People's Government announced it as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. Nowadays, the cemetery has been continuously renovated and built into a landscape park themed on historical and cultural celebrities. The"Yunjin Lake" next to the cemetery is named after"Yunjin Pond", where Zhang Yanghao's former residence Yunzhuang was located.

沿柳云社区北行，尽头就是小清河，河中现有五柳岛公园，这是北园地域知名的河运码头。旧时，黄台盐运码头、工商河码头、五柳岛码头，为济南的发展做出了不可抹去的贡献。五柳岛也是小清河在济南市区段唯一的河中岛。

Traveling northward along the Liuyun Community, the Xiaoqing River is at the end, in which Wuliu Island Park is located. It is a well-known river wharf in Beiyuan area. In the old days, Huangtai Salt Wharf, Gongshang River Wharf and Wuliu Island Wharf made indelible contributions to the development of Jinan. Wuliu Island is also the only island in the Xiaoqing River in the urban area of Jinan.

北园这片大地上还遗存着诸如济南市乡师旧址、五柳岛革命遗址等红色印记。北园是美丽济南的一扇窗户，历史的风吹来，花开、鸟语、莺啼。遗风诉说着大美北园。（来源：济南天桥融媒）
