Located in Hanting District of Weifang, the Yangjiabu Folk Art Grand View Garden, also known as the Yangjiabu tourist attraction, is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It covers an area of 350 mu (approximately 23.3 hectares) and mainly exhibits Chinese New Year paintings, kites and folk customs. The garden houses the“Wen Run Tower”, a building that garners cultural quintessence with a collection of 1,000-year-old artistic wonders; the“Kite Museum”, a museum that brings together exquisite Chinese kites; and the“New Year Paintings Museum”, a museum that displays the classics of Yangjiabu New Year woodblock paintings famous both at home and abroad. The Yangjiabu Folk Art Grand View Garden is recognized as a demonstration base for the productive protection of national intangible cultural heritage, an intangible cultural heritage museum under the“rural memory project”of Shandong, and a workstation of traditional techniques of Shandong. It blends the unique folklore of New Year paintings and kites to demonstrate the cultural features of Hanting from multiple perspectives.
